BETTER GLORY Heb 3:3
The New Testament believers needs to understand that the glory of the latter is better than the former. The prophesy of Haggai 2:9 is filled in Christ because what we have in him is of superior glory to what they had in the old. “For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, in asmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.” Hebrews 3:3 KJV
Apostle Paul captured it well when he said ““The Government of Death, its constitution chiseled on stone tablets, had a dazzling inaugural. Moses’ face as he delivered the tablets was so bright that day (even though it would fade soon enough) that the people of Israel could no more look right at him than stare into the sun. How much more dazzling, then, the Government of Living Spirit? If the Government of Condemnation was impressive, how about this Government of Affirmation? Bright as that old government was, it would look downright dull alongside this new one. If that makeshift arrangement impressed us, how much more this brightly shining government installed for eternity?” 2 Corinthians 3:7-11 MSG
What we have in Christ is a government of affirmation and it has a superior glory to what we see in the old. It is the government of a living spirit and the glory in the face of Jesus is better as it grants us access to and clarity about the Father. “For God, who said, “Let brilliant light shine out of darkness,” is the one who has cascaded his light into us—the brilliant dawning light of the glorious knowledge of God as we gaze into the face of Jesus Christ.” 2 Cor 4:6 TPT. We have something better than what they had in the old and it’s something to rejoice about. This is that which the Prophet spoke about saying the glory of the latter shall be greater than that of the former. Haggai 2 vs 9. Hallelujah
